- Position: Law Clerk – cum – Research Associate
- Nature of Engagement: Short-term contractual assignment
- Remuneration: ₹ 80,000/- per month
- Term: 2025-2026
- Total Positions: Approximately 90 candidates
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the position, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications:
Educational Qualifications:
- Must possess a Bachelor Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from a recognized institution in India.
- Candidates in the fifth year of a Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of a Three-Year Law Course after graduation are also eligible, provided they can furnish proof of their law qualification before taking up the assignment.
Skills Required:
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proficient writing abilities.
- Knowledge of computers and ability to retrieve information from various legal databases such as e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, and Westlaw.
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 20 to 32 years of age as of February 7, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be conducted in three phases:
- Part I: Multiple Choice Based Questions (MCQs) to assess understanding and application of law.
- Part II: Subjective Written Examination to evaluate writing and analytical skills.
- Part III: Interview.
- Date of Examination: March 9, 2025.
- Test Centers: The examination will be conducted in 23 cities across India, including major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru.

- Application Fee: ₹ 500/- plus applicable bank charges, payable online only.

- Start Date: January 14, 2025
- Closing Date: February 7, 2025, at 23:55 hours.
