Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) invites applications for the temporary position of Senior Technician (SEM) in the Department of Common Instruments Facility (CIF). Below are the detailed guidelines and essential information about the role:

Job Details

• Educational Qualification:
  MSc in Physics/Chemistry or BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Instrumentation/Material Science with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university/institution.
• Experience:
  Minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) operation/maintenance.

General Instructions for Applicants

1. This position is purely on a contractual basis, and the completion of the contract does not guarantee regularization or extension.
2. Candidates must apply online via the IIT Madras recruitment portal (link to application portal).
