Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualifications

Navik (General Duty): Class 12th passed with Maths and Physics from a recognized board.

Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from a recognized board.

2. Age Requirements

Minimum: 18 years

Maximum: 22 years (Born between 01 September 2003 and 31 August 2007)

Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates.

Selection Process

The recruitment involves four stages:

Stage I: Computer-Based Examination

Navik (GD): Two sections (Maths, Physics; and other subjects).

Navik (DB): Single section.

Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

1.6 km run in 7 minutes

20 squat-ups

10 push-ups

Stage III: Document Verification and Medical Examination

Stage IV: Final Verification at INS Chilka

Pay and Perks

Navik (GD/DB): Basic pay of Rs. 21,700 (Level 3) plus allowances.

Promotions: Up to Pradhan Adhikari (Level 8, Rs. 47,600) based on performance.

Other Benefits: Free medical treatment, ration, clothing, government accommodation, pension scheme, and insurance cover of Rs. 75 lakhs.
