RRB Group D Recruitment Notification Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (as of 1st January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 36 years (General Category)
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): +3 years
- SC/ST: +5 years
- PwBD: +10 years for UR, +13 years for OBC, and +15 years for SC/ST

RRB Group D Notification Application Process
Online Submission:
- Visit the official RRB website of your preferred railway zone.
- Complete the registration form with your personal details, including a valid email ID and mobile number.
Modification Facility:
- Available from 25th February to 6th March 2025 for a fee of ₹250 (non-refundable). Details such as email ID, mobile number, and chosen railway cannot be modified.
RRB Group D Fee Payment:
- General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refundable post-CBT appearance)
- SC/ST/PwBD/Female: ₹250 (fully refundable post-CBT appearance)
RRB Group D Notification Selection Process
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
- Marks will be normalized for multi-session exams.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo PET. Physical standards vary based on gender and job requirements.
3. Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination
- Candidates qualifying PET will be called for DV.
- A medical fitness test is mandatory for final appointment.
Medical Standards
The medical standards vary across posts. The key standards are:
- A-2 & A-3: High vision requirements; candidates with LASIK surgery may not qualify.
- B-1 & B-2: Moderate vision standards.
- C-1 & C-2: Lower vision requirements.

Age Relaxation for COVID-19 Impacted Candidates:
- A one-time relaxation of 3 years is granted for candidates who missed opportunities due to the pandemic.
