UCO Bank has announced an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals in the digital and IT sectors to join as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

  • Mandatory:
    • B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, OR
    • MCA or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institution.
  • Desirable:
    • MBA from a recognized university/institution.
    • Certifications in AI/ML, Cloud Computing, Digital Banking, Digital Lending, Product Management, or Analytics.

Experience

  • At least 10 years of experience in banking or financial sectors, focusing on IT or digital banking.
  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in digital transformation or fintech.

Skillset

  • Expertise in AI/ML-based risk models, digital lending, cloud computing, and data analytics.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, regulators, and technology partners.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the Chief Digital Officer, the selected candidate will:

  • Lead UCO Bank’s transformation from traditional to digital banking.
  • Integrate emerging technologies such as IoT, blockchain, robotics, and AI into banking processes.
  • Oversee the performance and maintenance of digital devices and platforms.
  • Collaborate with fintech partners to introduce innovative digital products.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and align digital operations with government initiatives like EASE.
  • Develop a robust API/Open Banking framework and monetize APIs for additional revenue streams.
  • Manage customer onboarding for both asset and liability accounts through digital platforms.
  • Address grievances and resolve disputes related to digital services.
